Charity & Worthy Causes Credit Cards

Charity and Worthy Causes Credit Cards – it’s a straightforward concept, support your favourite charity as a by product of spending money on your credit card.

Most of these cards make a small donation to the nominated charity when you’re accepted for the card, and then they commit to paying over a percentage of your annual spend as well. Some then also pay a fixed amount per annum for every year you keep and use the card.

The financial efficiency of Charity Credit Cards, the interest rates and charges, doesn’t make them the best deal in the market if you regularly carry a balance on your card, and unfortunately currently the card issuers don’t donate a cut of their profits from the interest you’re paying on any outstanding balance!

Its nice to help worthy causes, but don’t take out the card for the sake of it. When you compare the options look at how much a year your chosen charity is likely to benefit by your spending profile.
